You know you've failed BIG TIME when parody versions of ThunderCats are able to do comedy better than the actual comedic spin-off of ThunderCats. Even the MAD sketch "ThunderLOLCats" and the Robot Chicken sketches of Thundercats, both which are from (intentional) parody shows, did the comedy better, while this show did not.And the thing is, the originals had a really dark tone (possibly more than Teen Titans (2003), The Powerpuff Girls (1998), and Ben 10 (2005) combined, though to be fair, it had lighthearted moments), so any chance of making an action comedy of ThunderCats would be a very rancid idea to begin with. The tone also is very off-place, being way too light-hearted and comedic. Not only that, but the designs even try so hard to look "cute" (the announcement trailer depicted Lion-O making the ":3" face), but as said before, it just fails. This style usually never works for cartoons with anime-esque looking designs or better yet, action cartoons in general. The generic thin-line animation style (or rather, bean mouth style) is used for the characters, which ended up failing miserably but yet typically with altering the body proportions drastically. It doesn't have any charm, heart, or basically anything that made both the original and the short-lived 2011 revival great at all. It instead feels more like a YouTube parody that was somehow picked up by Cartoon Network due to its massive popularity (keep in mind that this actually happened with Annoying Orange). Horrendous grasp of the original source material: the real issue is that it's far from being an actual ThunderCats show.Night Court: NBC Slates Sequel Sitcom for 2022-23 Season.AGT: Extreme: NBC Competition Spin-Off Still Expected to Air Mid-Season.Law & Order, The Endgame, Young Rock, This Is Us: NBC Sets Mid-Season 2021-22 Schedule.Crime Scene: Joe Berlinger Docu-Series Renewed for Three Seasons on Netflix.Solar Opposites: Hulu Teases Adult Animated Holiday Special.

The puma runs to all the ThunderCats, unfreezes them, and restores the dangerous places to their original state. Lion-O presents the key and releases the ThunderCat signal, which turns into a black puma. The Ancient Spirits summon their “champion” Pyron to fight Lion-O, but the dragons in the book flame Pyron.
Despite Mumm-Ra’s cheating, Lion-O still wins. The ThunderCats run into problems but Lion-O journeys into the book using the Sword of Omens and battles Mumm-Ra, with neither of them using any magic. The Ancient Spirits of Evil try to stop Mumm-Ra because they fear their powers will cease to exist if he succeeds. Before the mission can be completed, Mumm-Ra steals the book and the key and journeys into the book himself. Lion-O must then give the Key of Thundera to the guardian of the book “at the 24th hour” or else the ThunderCats will be frozen in time and New Thundera will be destroyed. New Thundera is being torn apart and the ThunderCats must find the Treasures of Thundera and return them to their rightful locations (once beautiful, now dangerous places).
